1. The big idea for this project is stories. We were told to create a cartoon that tells a story of our opinion on something that is going on in schools. In this cartoon I created, I am telling the story about school cliques. This is a picture of a lunch room and the principal talking to the new kid who is interested in a variety of things. All the tables are labeled with various cliques.
2. I could incorporate this project into my classroom if I had an older grade. I could use this in a social justice lesson. Students could voice their own opinions in a cartoon.

1. Since the big idea for this project was stories we were told to pick our favorite childhood story from when we were young and create a story quilt. The story I chose was Madeline by Ludwig Bemelmans. I chose the scene in the book where Madeline shows her bravery by standing up to a tiger because I always liked how Madeline was brave and I wanted to be like her.
2. I could incorporate this into my classroom by having the students take a scene from a story we read in class and draw a picture the way they saw it in their mind. Then they can make the quilt patches based on the emotions in the scene.

1. For this project we were supposed to take a random every day object that people don't think twice about when throwing it away and turn it into a piece that shows something about you and your beliefs. I chose a styrofoam cup as my random object. I then thought about something about myself that related to the objects uses. I first made a list of the uses for a styrofoam cup and remembered that people use these cups to plant plants in it. this lead me to the idea of recycling and how important I think it is to recycle.
2. I could incorporate this into my classroom by having students think of something they strongly believe in and create some sort of sculture that sort of raises awareness about that topic.
